This program lets you check any block special device for errors on Linux systems. I wrote it since there are some faulty USB pen-drives around which claim to be e.g. 1GB in size but have only 512MB of flash memory installed physically.
Note: This program was only tested on Linux. If you want to port it to other platforms, or want to contribute in any other way, please mail me.
Installation
Download the tarball, unzip it and run make. That’s all, folks.
